This summer has been a wonderful time and we will hopefully be enjoying a pleasant fall time. I am sure, many of you have gained intercultural experience during your travels and holiday trips, conversing in different languages and putting up with various cultural issues.

 

Now, it's time to look at ourselves and discuss,

how foreigners would descripe Austrians and

interprete the Austrian culture,

explain our attitudes and get along with many Austrian accents and dialects, which absolutely enrich the spoken German language.

 

It's good to reflect on our traditional behaviour and find out about the picture we have about ourselves in comparison to the experience that foreigners' gained with Austrians.

 

Let's discuss Austrian behaviourism, the country, the language, attitudes and find out if we really know enough about ourselves.
