Well, don't they look soooo cute with their heart-warming faces and cosy fur?

Yes, they do and it is more than just looking cute.

Today, many people decide to keep a pet, especially cats or dogs when they are small. Cats and dogs grow and then they can become a real challenge. It is important to know about the challenges and responsibility before people get a pet as a new member of the family.

For some it is important to not feel alone or feel more protected.

For some it is a prestigous object like a car, especially when they are big or special breed.

For some pets replace kids. Pets are handled more easily than kids or teenagers.

There are many more reasons, why people keep pets.

The numbers of pet-keepers have exploded since some years. And many more non-pet-keepers got annoyed about some careless behaviour of pet-keepers. Is it really a careless behaviour or a result of an excessive demand that pets imply.
